must consider future earnings and get out not before earnings slow but before they begin?

Given the earlier discussion on negative infinity perhaps it would be best to think carefully about an exit as soon as the group heads out of the garage.

In the future maybe there will be options on possible companies before the products the possible companies will possibly make are possible...

Internet time being what it is, there already was a Web "market" for stocks of companies that didn't actually exist. It was an out-front Ponzie scheme. It even had "Blue Chip" non-existent companies. (I.E. openly non-existent companies whose "stock" never went down.) It was based on the greater fool theory. And although it was all open and above board (!?), those party poopers at the SEC recently closed down the entire operation.
