We are opening a new store in Colorado and will carry cell phones and also the Globalstar sat phone. One of the problems with carrying the phones is the cost. They sell the phones to the dealers for $669 and then they are running specials for the consumer at $699..... NO PROFIT....

And there is virtually no money paid for the service package to the store. A standard payment for signing new service to a customer is customary and that is where cell shops make their profit. Then the accessories have extraordinary profit margins.

Globalstar has to change the profit schedule for the dealers or they will not carry the phone. That is essential to gaining retail footprint for them. Another thing is to come up with a better looking smaller phone that does not have the big d*** looking antenna on the picture. Marketing is everything.

Summary......

1. Give the dealer incentive packages
2. New marketing with the phone looking smaller
3. Pay a service plan commission that compare with industry standard
4. Keep advertising.... Name..Name..Name.. It is everything.

btw: stockholder for months not years.
