The main U.N. criterion that bumped us to the top is 'equitable redistribution of wealth'. I happen to disagree that redistribution of 55% of my income is 'equitable'. >Amazing how you narrow minded red necks think only hard working people get ahead. Where did I say that? In fact the opposite is too often true - hard working people can't get ahead because of the punitive tax regime in this country. For what its worth, my average income put me well below the 'poverty level' over most of my life. I've had years where I had to live on rice and potatoes.
