Well, we seem to have something for everyone tonight. Cheers for millions of handsets and panic in the markets tomorrow.

Whatever.

Sorry to break in but I must share something with all of you to put things into perspective (that's why they hired me for this job here).

As many of you know, I attended the reunion for my father's WWII B-17 Squadron last weekend. I am not going into my usual monologue about how much we owe to those guys because I figure you all know that by now...but I must tell you many of us live very blessed lives. By all accounts, those of us who had fathers fight in WWII (or more recent wars)...we are very lucky to be alive.

It is hard for me to imagine what it is like to go out every day not knowing if you were going to live or die in order to preserve the precious freedom so many take for granted.

I saw a photo last weekend of a grave stone marking the resting place of an American GI in Asia somewhere. He was killed in WWII. His name was not on the marker, but the following was...

"I gave up my today for your tomorrows."

Take some time this week to count your blessings.

Rick

yup! 25 million phones is a lot of phones
especially for a country with 67 million existing GSMs
CDMA may be catching up in China.
Where ARE those phones going?
Maybe part of the deal is non disclosure. LOL!

marketing
