Sorry to interupt the longs vs shorts debate...

A couple of thoughts on NT:

- reveune shortfall this quarter shows optical biz not as strong, (90% g vs 150% last qtr). Need to watch if a treand is developping. How much biz has NT lost to Cerent platform in the SONET world ?

-NT last qtr said they'd do $12B in optical, now say only $10B is more accurate. $2B shortfall in 3 months ???

Despite the hype, NT has no mesh OXC (like SCMR), outdated SONET gear (losing biz to CSCO,RBAK) and is late in ULH (CORV). This could be a lot more serious for NT than previously anticipated.

I'm on the sidelines on NT for now, and for the record, still long CSCO...

There is nothing that Bambs or I can write that will change CSCOs market cap.

And a thousand like you couldn't.

I am disappointed that you mock him.

Like I live for you approval?

Thanks for coming out of the closet and confirming my suspicions about you.I knew from jump street that you and bambs were soulmates.

Have you checked the NAV on your mutual funds today?

Tom,

It's not what Bambs says, it's the way he says it. He has a unique way of being a pain in the ass. I just visited the NT thread and he has everyone over there stirred up. He has no compassion for his fellow investor and his main objective is proving to the world he is right and everything he says is gospel. I have read a few of his contributions and thought he had a good grip on the market but he insists on bickering with anyone with ideas contrary to his beliefs. He should give up his feud with Gary. We all know that Gary has made a year end prediction for Cisco and we all know he has lowered that prediction and he may lower it even more in the future....so what? big deal....We all know that bambs hates Cisco, NT, etc. He has stated it over and over and over..He makes money when stocks fall and that's ok but he doesn't have to shoot his mouth off every time he's a winner. Have you ever read about his losers? Nope, he's never had one..This thread needs ideas and comments that benefits Cisco investors, regardless if the stock is up or down. Space is taken up with petty "I'm right and you're wrong" comments....What a waste........
