Saw a mildly amusing movie on cable this weekend, called Rollover, from the early 80's I think.

Nice plot: banker recruited to take over a rickety, credit-impaired money center bank. Meets rich, recently widowed financier wanna-be who proposes buying some obscure Spanish petrochemical firm to resuscitate late husband's floundering corp. No source of funding can be found except Saudi petro ClownBux. Tentative arrangements made. Banker shags widow. Dollar has some bad hair days. Widow finds out bank is shagged, pulls out of deal. Saudis refuse to rollover investments in bank, withdraw fundings. Bank collapses, unwinds positions. LLCF ensues, world is shagged. Happy ending (if you're Luc, that is<G>).

Favorite line:

Trader:"But Mr. Bank President, we can't bid on gold! It's $2200/oz!!
Bank Prez: "That'll be cheap by morning!!" HO HO HO!
