It makes one wonder if the Nazis had the temerity to exterminate any Jews on the Sabbath. If they did that, surely the Good Christians should have dragged Adolf out of the camp and bashed his brains out with stones. Or excommunicated him, at the very least....

Did I miss something? What was the deal? Did the Church agree to let the Holocaust happen in return for tithes? Is that your argument? I'd like to see a reference, please, including support for your allegation that the German government still collects tithes and sends it to the Church.

If you want to blame "the Pope" and "the Church" for "the Inquisition" - I think you need to reconsider your position. Those guys are dead now. You don't blame Clinton for what Jefferson or Madison did, and you don't blame the current Supreme Court for the Dred Scott Decision, do you?

I don't think John Paul II collaborated with the Nazis. I don't think Pius XII did either.
