SbH,

re: SSTI.

FWIW, my next door neighbor works there. He was telling me that the feeling around the office is that the $2.90 projected earnings for next year is conservative. Take this with a huge grain of salt.

Yes, the increase in SSTI' short position is a problem and an indication that someone has a big bet against it, on the other hand, large short position when a stock keep reporting outstanding results could lead to a short squeeze. There is a possibility that the big increase in shorts during the last reporting period might have been associated with SSTI cancelled secondary, but it is still something worth watching. If the short do not start to cover when the stock dips under $20' you may come to the conclusion that they know something we don't (like an impending over supply or slackening of demand). That is why you don't fall in love with a stock and when it goes against you, you just admit you were (I was) wrong and move on to another situation.

Well,

I got my sndk@52. NT in tse seems to have halted trading at 11:58. But it is still moving down in ny. Was down 30%.

ssti still not meeting my bid, and I just don't have the guts to chase it today. I have half a mind to get out, and half a mind to buy a few things.

Somehow, pictures of canned beans & spam keeps popping up.
