USA TODAY/CNN/Gallup Poll:

Tuesday's results: The lead in the tight race between Gov. George W. Bush and Vice President Al Gore switched hands again Tuesday with Gore leading Bush by one percentage point, 46% to 45%. On Monday, Bush led Gore 46% to 44%; he led by as many as 10 percentage points over the weekend. USA TODAY/CNN/Gallup poll analysts say it appears that low-income men who live in rural areas have switched support from Bush to Gore more than any other group of voters.
