There were tickets but they were free. You just had to pick them up. There was no question asked about being Democrat or Republican. I was fortunate enough to get a ticket in the VIP area and they had to cut it off because of fire marshal limits on people on the balconies. It was an exciting time. I know we are polarized on this one but I really feel Bush will do so much more for America and Americans than Gore will. Gore won't keep his promises, he will expand government even more and he may very well cost jobs because he will fight a lot of the things that manufacturing makes for environmental reasons. I say recently on television in an interview with Gore he was asked about the fact all appliances will go up substantially. They used the example of a washing machine. The price will double in order to make the changes necessary to conform with the environmental rules Gore wants. Gore said that may be true but there will be a payback in conservation over the years and to remember what we are doing for the environment.
