BTK is holding things up a bit.

AFFX did the Goodie .. Goodie thing. I'm happy we have the Bios leading in the Face of an Optics down draft.

No, it's not easy. Ah but which stocks to buy and hold and when and for how long? Therein lies the rub.
1. Gillette? There are also the Gillette's that went from 60's in 98 to 30's today.
2. RTK has bounced around all over the place. Been down from over $3 to down around .37 and over $4 and now in the 1 1/2-2 range.
What you buy and when does make a difference?
3. If you had to pick stocks to buy and hold the stock for at least 10 years, what would you buy? For most ten year periods or longer of the 20 th century, GE would have been a good pick. GE trivia: A share of GE on 1/1/1970 was 76 5/8 (split adjusted price of .80 (96:1)). Today's close: $53
53./.80=66.25 or 6,625%. Each $1 of GE stock owned then would be worth $6,625 if kept till today.
