Here is the news update from your link. 11:32 25-OCT-2000 Softbank Investment (0648-HK) to enlarge its Asian funds Softbank Investment International said its Asian investment unit has US$36 million (HK$280.8 million) and the fund has already invested about 50 pct in the region, on six ot seven items. As further investments are made, the fund may be enlarged as the needs arise. The company is considering co-operating with PCCW (0008-HK) but no talks are in progress at this time. (End)
