I hadn't heard much about it. Apparently Intel isn't pushing it. That's why I asked you.

The i820e doesn't make a lot of sense. Is it going to be scratched by the end of the year like I read at some certain net sites?
Perhaps another indication that Intel isn't lightening up on its' Rambus push.

The 820e has been out for months now. Not much fanfare around it, obviously, but they're out there.

At the Embedded Systems Conference, the i815e was all over the Intel booth. No mention of i820e.
