Major Dumbo: One of your greatest fears is a major turnout by union members on Nov. 7.

If you had studied congressional votes more and listened to G. Gordon Giddy less on AM hate radio, you would have observed that for the past six years brave Democrats in Congress have been fending off the union-hating visages of Dick Armey, Tom DeLay and Trench Mouth Lott.

For six years they have been trying to pass the same lame package of bills that amount to nothing more than an assault on working families and their unions.

Try doing some homework for a change instead of wading into these conversations with jibberish.

I don't think you've contributed one cogent statement to this board in the past three months. I used to think it was because you were just letting off steam because you were henpecked at home. However, after reading your posts for three months now, I think the answer is because you're just stupid.

kv, your post reminded me of a Mencken quote:

"The New Deal began, like the Salvation Army, by promising to save humanity. It ended, again like the Salvation Army, by running flop-houses and disturbing the peace."
