Morning Pat,

>me if I had a fourth that I wanted to invite (I was the third) but I demurred. Considered you, Scott and a few others <

To bad I could have used some Psychoanalysis. <smile>

>His theory is that each person fits into a separate profile that can be defined. So if I know my profile, I have a better idea what I can do and not do.<

The book is: "Zen in The Markets" by Edward Allen Toppel.
Many of these authors have discovered there's a significant gulf between 'mediocre' and 'superb' or master traders. Some believe that it's the connection to intuition or 'self' or spirit that marks the difference. We all know about the right and left brains that need to work together to do just about any task well...!. These folks believe a third part or another state of consciousness plays an important role. (there maybe four) Kind of like driving down the highway and suddenly realizing you'd forgotten the last 15 miles, but are still driving. <smile> That's the "Zen State of Mind." And this carries over into trading patterns and intuitions.

Personally, I find this to be accurate and believable. What you've stumbled into is a new and fascinating aspect of traders lives. I would love to be in your shoes..!

You may well learn something significant and how to break out of poor trading patterns.
Trading is a "Dance" not War. An "Art" not just a learned mechanical activity.

My Best,

Chip
