OT: "Warning: Altarex Needs A Securities Lawyer - Fast"
(Or at least someone who can cut-and-paste)

The safe harbor language Altarex uses is weirdly worded, no? Here's what the company's press release says:

"WARNING: The company relies upon litigation protection for 'forward-looking' statements."

Can't understand how Altarex could get things so garbled. Someone should spring for a few bucks and hire a competent securities lawyer to draft the language for them rather than continue to use the law-impaired nincumpoop who's doing it now. Easier (and cheaper) yet, Altarex could cut-and-paste the explicit statutorily mandated disclaimer language other companies use -- there are literally thousands of good examples floating around the web. Otherwise, AXO may find their 'litigation protection' is as unreliable as they are trying to imply their forward-looking statements can be.

To be sure, the Safe Harbor Amendment Congress passed is utterly insipid -- for those who don't remember, it was an ugly compromise forced by the Republican majority to save the necks of some of their corporate campaign contributors who habitually lie to investors -- but when the law says that to be immune from suit you must issue a clear disclaimer warning the public not to rely on forward-looking statements and projections of management, it doesn't quite cut it to say in effect, "Hey! We've got a legal defense if you try to sue us for our forward-looking statements."
