CSCO certainly has been behaving well so far today; I figure the big money is managing that one carefully to make sure the market doesn't implode. It wouldn't surprise me to see NT surge later in the day, as you suggest; it's trading in a very narrow range since its gap-down open. I personally would expect JDSU to have quite limited upside ahead of its earnings report tomorrow, with the heavy exposure to LU and NT and yesterday's analyst report expressing concern about the numbers.

I'll be watching CIEN guidance on the sector -- it's my favorite gauge of sentiment (what the hot money is doing) for the fibers.

I'm also eyeing some non-fiber networkers that are getting hit in sympathy with the fibers. I like TUTS on valuation: recently reported excellent earnings, gave upbeat guidance, and has received glowing analyst coverage. FFIV looks very attractive to me, also, although I won't buy ahead of its earnings tomorrow.
