Funny, I don't think I mentioned my party in my original note.

As it happens, I'm a registered Independent. Both parties disgust me about equally, though for different reasons.

bottom line:

vote republican if you want a smaller gov't-or have a "I do not trust Centralized authority"

vote democrat if you want more gov't, more gov't control of the private sector, more centralized control.

abortion is a red herring....the supreme court does not "overthrow" past rulings so easy....they may nibble around the edges, but they do not change major decisions....rich
