Very good news from Korea....It looks like demand for handsets is back. M.com had 2.8m customers at the end of Septemeber....they just reached 3m yesterday.

KT M.com subscribers hit 3 mil. mark
The number of people subscribing to Korea Telecom M.com exceeded three million as of yesterday, officials said.

The wireless operator said a whopping 310,000 had newly subscribed to the service since July amidst a general decline in the number of wireless subscribers owing to a government-imposed ban on handset subsidies.

Formerly Hansol M.com, the wireless company attributed the noticeable rise in subscribers to its improved image after joining the nation's dominant telecom company, excellent call quality, various services tailored to teens and 20s and eye-catching advertisements.
