Bush Leads Gore by 8 Points in Bipartisan Poll

In the latest poll conducted by Voter.com/Battleground, George W. Bush has opened an eight-point lead over Al Gore.
In a survey conducted over four nights from Oct. 17 through Sunday of 1,000 likely voters nationwide, Bush commanded 46 percent of the vote to Gore's 38 percent.

Green Party candidate Ralph Nader garnered 5 percent, Reform Party candidate Pat Buchanan had 1 percent, and 10 percent of voters were undecided.

The bipartisan poll data, released Tuesday, had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percent.
