That's because AMZN reports using EBIDTA, which Ms Covey invented. If they were reporting using General accepted accounting principles (GAAP) even an idiot could figure those #'s out in less than 5 minutes.


This is true although even with GAAP the inventory change is not "normal." I can't tell how they value their inventory. Lower of cost or market, FIFO, etc.

By the way, I still believe Joy was the best paid accountant I have ever seen. I pay my accountant less. "Trust me on that" <VVBG>
