Rocket, the distriubtor who sold me my phone also said the mark up on the hardware was miniscule to nothing. Made some money on MOUs. My service is through Stratos. FWIW.

You scored a bullseye with that post. The American Way!!! Wally World K Fart and a host of other discounters. only one way to survive in that market. Kick em in the b**** and steal market share. Specialty stores in affluent markets is another. That is what we are trying. Lots of high priced toys for boys and girls. PDA's, fancy trading computers packed with all the bookmarks and programs (Windows on Wall Street, etc.) and multiple monitors. Includes training sessions for level II., Flash players, Remote video cameras and receivers, GPS, Satellite internet products and services, Microwave ISP service, online trading room in house, tons of other fun stuff. G* phones will fit right in. A high priced machine for those that can. And we have it. If G* is successful then I will be there. If they are not I will still be there. My personal choice is they make it. But they need to make peace with us retailers. Until I am sure they are on track I will stock one phone at a time and not reorder until that one is gone. I will let you all know how the battle plays out. Till later, still patient. Bill
