Charity and aid at the local level is efficient and manageable.

If there was no federal government and the poor, old etc had to rely on charity we would be morally bankrupt as a nation. You right wing ayn rand guys and those left wing Trotskyites like cary kill me. The answer lies with more efficient government not with none and certainly not with revolution. Both the right and the left dont want to hear that but thats why in the US we have a dynamic center and choose our representatives and Presidents accordingly.

True because of human weakness. I accept a dialogue on the subject of where on the continuum from socialism to laissez faire capitalism the society should be. Only one party has members with opposing views. The other party checks the wallets of the very wealthy for every decision.
