<<I am reminded of Camus's "The Myth of Sisyphus". Condemned to eternally roll a boulder up a steep incline, only to have it roll back down and have to be pushed up again, >>

Better that than being the guy who got his liver eaten every day.

1. please don't split infinitives ("to eternally roll").
2. Camus was a copycat.
3. Sisyphos was a wimp. Zeus wrongfully punished him for revealing Zeus's rape of Aegina to Asopus. S. was not human, so his life has nothing to do with human dignity. Of course, he was a rapist (abductor) too, the mythic father of Odysseus.
