Annette...as cruel as it may seem, animals aren't the only creatures that need a leash once in a while. Try it, it works. When our 28 year old boy was a three year old. He had this habit of climbing a six foot wooden fence that surrounded our back yard. The wife made a harness of canvas strapping with a buckle and hook ring on the back of the contraption. It worked! I'm sure you could even waterproof one. <g>

Come to California. Nice weather all the time. There are some nice beach cities and lots of things to do for kids and grown-ups.

Annette: You might try a cruise! Ships that are geared up for families have day care programs. You don't have to do a Disney cruise, the other lines have family programs, too.

And, I've heard that they have way too much inventory. Cruises should be selling at a discount.
