The same decisve action that a rabbit takes when he gets caught in the headlights of an oncoming truck...

Now that was funny. It's good to laugh on a down day.

This may be a disaster, but you know, sometimes, the truck passes right over the rabbit, and the rabbit lives to hop another day (and eat the lettuce in my garden).

Clearly we have been in a downtrend for several months and during that time there have been several days when it appeared that a catastrophic fall was coming. Yet there were several other days when it seemed quite clear that the Nas was rebounding strongly and was obviously on its way back up.

No one really knows which way the market is going in the short term. We can drop another 200 points today, or we could see a massive upswing.

Like the scared rabbit, doing nothing on the dark days is often the best advice.
