Usually do my Christmas shopping for selected LTB&H stocks this time of the year...October, month of the annual 25% price rollback sale. Todays train wreck has afforded me sale prices on SNDK, CREE, NTAP & SDLI was wondering how many shopping days remain...My good fortune I realize is not shared by all on this thread I hope the discomfort is of short duration and we all profit in the coming quarter...I am a long time lurker on this thread, Thanx all...jrc

What's October got to do with anything? EVERYTHING! For one thing the deadline for fund managers to sell stocks for a loss for the year is Oct 31. Now think about it. It is bad enough to have a fund with poor performance. But to have one with poor performance AND a tax liability is a bit much. So how many fund managers that have SNDK going into October are showing loss? Well probably every fund manager that bought between Feb and May. So what kind of performance do you expect in October. Now, consider that those that want to get back in because fundamentally nothing has changed to the negative, November will see them coming back in. Remember thay have to stay out or hedge with options for 30 days. The end of October is a great time to buy! No doubt about it! With any luck we might see SNDK in the 30's.
