No question he is a natural as a politician. But more is needed to be President than that and his lack of knowledge, particularly of foreign policy worry me. If I were voting for governor of Texas i would vote for him but for President probably not in the end. So I think the opposite will happen as we get closer to election day and gore will pull ahead. Would have done better with a Governor with more substance or McCain.

I used to live in Texas and know how intractible the education funding issue was. Anyone who found common ground on that one has my admiration. I don't care how he did it. I am continually amazed that liberals never focus on results - only on good intentions.
