I do not mind them wandering the streets, and I do not mind them flopping in shelters. I do think they are a danger to themselves and others, and/or trespassers and vandals, when they sleep in public places or homestead on private property. I am not a libertarian, and I do not think we do the mad any favor by pretending they are sane, or the marginally functional any favor by indulging their whims without expecting some responsible behavior. If that minimum is labelled authoritarian, well, it does not scare me much.......
