The wife and I were talking "conspiracy theories" last night.
We came up with one that sounds nuts.
Here goes.....We wonder if all the companies are putting everything that has been bad and can be bad for the next year in their current earnings. That way they can get everything out of the way.
They may even be wanting to force the Fed into lower rates by crashing the market.

Oh well that is the dumbest conspiracy theory I have ever come up with but that happens with you get bored.
