Thanks Edamo, good tip so I'll repeat it, not down to previous lows, sideways trading on low volume are good buys on days like this.

....look for stocks that have not neared previous lows, and have traded sideways to slightly down today on below average volume....

Thats what I did when Nas was at 3000....guess what? JDSU was well above their previous low.

Houses selling now? Only the little guys......the big guys already sold, knowing what they were about to do. Today, and maybe tomorrow...they are buying.

Capitulation has occured...in sectors. That is the way they engineered it this time.

Regards,

Yeah well, I know one "stock" I'd like to buy...

You know the old public humiliation machine used years ago. Well,I'd buy a few of those stocks and have 'em installed on the steps of the NYSE... then watch out if you are one of those incompetent over paid charlatans in suits, (aka some of our self important analysts).

Let the punishment fit the crime I say... let's start with those who downgrade something after it is already in the gutter. Why, I'd have the goon-squad round a few of these guys up and have 'em spend an afternoon sitting in their own personal stock. They might use their voluble talents to protest some, but perhaps they could be encouraged to use the time more productively by reflecting on their lack of professionalism. Hell, I'd even provide a pile of rotten tomatoes that folks can use as they see fit!
Cheers all...
