Most college guys from that era did what we could to avoid vietnam and we all know that Gore was no different despite portraying himself that way. Gore should have been leading the anti-war movement if he was truly against the war(which i believe he was). He chose a politically correct solution just like clinton, just like bush, just like me. Dont do anything that will hurt you politically, economically going forward. But some of us did participate in the antiwar movement which proved to be the correct thing to do.
