Right now Im going with my short-term technicals which indicate that there is more downside. That doesnt mean that it cant do a little bounce first.

The trend remains the trend until it bends. Has the trend changed? Has the character of the market or sentiment changed in a significant way? Has the pattern of selling changed? Looking strictly at gaps may be seeing a branch of a tree at the expense of not seeing the whole tree, or for that matter, the forest, the bigger longer term perspective.
