Doc, the debt is on T's books, not ATHM's. Thus, I stand by my statement that any debt in the T spinoff that owns ATHM stock will have no impact on ATHM. I own ATHM stock and I also have a mortgage on my house. My mortgage in no way impacts ATHM's ability to borrow. Ditto any T spinoff's debt. Now you might have some minor argument if you argued that the T spinoff would be limited in its ability to build out its cable upgrades. But that's another argument. As I read the ATHM earnings press release, ATHM's cable partners have already upgraded cable passing by over 50% of their customers. I don't know but it's possible that T's cable companies may be even higher.
