Actually, they sell Duron at K6 price. IMO the production costs are lower on the duron (.18 mu, way better yields)
edit : they discounted Duron's ASP by as much as 20$ to counter the infrastructure extra costs.

A cheap celeron mobo goes for 40-50$ while a cheap Duron one goes for the double of that price...
