Correction - 6 1/2 years - HP and Intel began work in the summer of 1994 on this project.

Paul, what's a "pilot server"? Is that like a "pilot CPU"? ITanic is a beta-release. Let us know when a real 64-bit CPU is ready from Intel.

I think Scumbria will appreciate your improved environmental record. Instead of posting new releases, you recycle old ones.

Since the press release is from October 17, it's been on your compost pile for some time, and is starting to smell a little.

Did you see the Intel ad showing PIII hitting the 1GHZ wall?

It was just soooooo appropriate!

I was especially impressed by the PIII guy sliding down the wall into a defeated little puddle after trying to reach 1.13GHZ.
