re: death penalty

I am against based on several grounds:

1. Moral

I think killing - particularly by the government is inherently wrong.

And the fact that some innocents will get killed makes it unacceptable.

2. Implementation

The way it is implemented in US is terrible.

Studies show it is racially biased.
It is expensive.

3. Alternative

And in almost all other civilized societies they utilize incarceration without parole for life. And it works well as a deterrent.
