I would be very happy if NT holds here, which was the support during the April-May meltdown. Cisco is also holding its own in the same support level. JDSU more or less in the 70's. The more beat up companies are back to their November 1999 levels.

The market is now starting to look closer at this CAPEX thing, so expect telecom reports (like T today and WCOM tomorrow) to be part of the digestive process. Among the new TELCOs, Qwest should be the most important. It's not just the amount of spending that will be important, it's also where it's going. Optical should still be strong though I suspect that these telcos would start putting more in areas where they would have some immediate revenue return, because their legacy business have really been hurting.
