Summers "led?" Led what? I thought you have attributed our prosperity to Clinton. Er, uh, no, Gore. No, er, uh, now Rubin and Summers. Are you sure all the above aren't wrong, and that it wasn't Gates, Dell, Chambers, Grove, etc. who are responsible for our prosperity????? Oh, no, it had to be the government. And thank goodness, Gore wants to expand it.

And who's Rubin -- oh, yes, our Treasury Secretary until just several months ago when this new guy Summers took over as Treasury Secretary; right around the time the markets started tanking, the Euro hit new lows, oil prices hit new highs, and people started genuinely debating whether a recession is around the corner.

I don't recall criticizing Summers' job title at all; I just tried to put his loyalties into a little perspective for thoe who don't know his left-wing leanings and that he's an influential advisor to Gore.

Btw, how do you know Summers knows a lot more than I do? We haven't even gone head-to-head on "Survivor," or "Who Wants to be a Millionaire," yet. I bet I know lots of things he doesn't. But since you raised the issue, I'm ready to throw down the gauntlet and issue a challenge to him, right here and now.
