By Ensuring That Previous Corrections Were All Quickly Corrected They may have postponed the real correction but only at the expense of making the economic consequences much worse. I am particularly fond of the fall as well. The colors, smells, the feel of it. Win or loose it is easy to come away from each day's trading feeling exhausted and cynical. A walk outside, or even looking out of the window reminds me how beautiful everything is. The market is always about tomorrow but my life only happens today. BTW - As you know, when you expand those charts to 5 or 10 years you get a little different perspective on the last 12 months (even semi-log).
