I agree Eugene But Since the fed was relentlesly printing money until early 2000 the are in a box. If they dont slow economy inlight of higher OIL and Labor costs they will inded have recession. The issue is Liquidity more then rates. I think the Die is cast either way, Rate lowering or not the economy is in trouble. The snowball has begun rolling. The Dollar strength is the only thing averting a real disaster.
