Yes, I kinda' suspect the manipulating powers that be want the investing public to realize that gold is not the haven for your your money once hi-tech stocks go on the skids. It seems that hi-tech stocks have been hyped to lure lots of folks away from gold, much to the manipulators' delight.<gggg> In keeping with fostering the idea that gold is dying or dead, it is imperative to ensure the POG does not rise when hi-tech stocks are shot down. Nortel, of Canadian origin, provided an excellent excuse for the precipitous drop of hi-tech stocks, despite its good report card. Seems to me the news media were very cooperative with the manipulators. <gggg>
