THE PEACE CORPS WOMEN LEARNED THAT THE WOMEN WERE ALL TOLD, IN ENGLISH AND SETSWANA, EVERYTHING IN THE PDR ABOUT DEPO PROVERA, WHICH WAS KNOWN TO BE CONTROVERSIAL. THE WHITE WOMEN'S SELF IMPORTANT, HUFFY, ALBEIT WELL-MEANING INVESTIGATION CAME UP WITH NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT, MUCH TO THEIR CHAGRIN. THE CATEGORY OF WOMEN I DESCRIBED TO YOU WANTED IT ANYWAY. I HAVE EXPLAINED WHY. What happens when the clinics are "localized," I don't know, but I would not be optimistic that all consent was informed.
