dave, great minds think alike. I love it too. Think it is an undiscovered jewel. We bought it last spring around 14-15. I started shoving it under my husband's nose at 9, but he procrastinates - drives me crazy. We bought LCOS this summer and during the time after we agreed to buy it, and he was dragging his feet about getting on the phone to the broker (30 minutes) it went up more than 2 bucks!

I like all your picks, but I am looking for JNPR, BRCM, CORV, GLW, CIEN, CFLO, AKAM, INKT, ADI, AMCC, AVNX, BEAS, NEWP, MUFO, ITWO not necessarily in that order (and probably 25 more.LOL)

First I have to figure out what to sell. Had the sell list all ready last Friday morning and my husband disappeared until 10 minutes before market closed. Now I have to do the DD all over again.

When did MONI IPO? I picked it up reading European news in February or March, maybe even January.

I do a lot of reading and last week read articles saying CHU was great, bad, great, bad and through the confusion came away thinking it may not have been a good choice. I probably posted some of the negative articles, cause I am not going looking for them once more.

I wish you all the luck possible. IMO unless the internet and wireless are abandoned tomorrow these are the future and an integral part in getting there. The rest of the world can only take so much NAS tanking here. The slow down in our economy will have rippling effect globally. The Asian, Australian economies are not in good shape and any real problems with US economy will be felt around the world.

Merry

Good Afternoon Dave,

Just wanted to check in and see what mess I wrote last night. I had been up for 2 days straight, was focused on my granddaughter and wanted to answer your post.

The market is doing a little worse than I expected this morning, especially in the optic area, but nothing like yesterday -- thank goodness.

I still can't decide what to sell. We do not margin and can't - Our money is in a retirement IRA.

When I listed all my possible stocks to sell, the total Market Value was $25K greater than the total loss (including paper gains) of those stocks. With a total loss around 55% on the group I am really anxious about what to sell. I was hoping to have a direct sell/buy; selling something with pps close to or at the price of what I buy. If JDSU comes in with great earnings with nothing the analysts can find fault with, this hammering on the optical sector should end. Couple that with a good GNP report tomorrow morning and we should have seen a bottom (what do I know).

You made great choices yesterday, all are at the top of my "best to buy" list and all with a fantastic business outlook. Tuesday, 80% of the sells were large block trades. Most of the sellers, IMO, are still the professionals and institutions; but with the drop today many investors are probably getting margin calls.

Unfortunately, we can't trade after hours and if JDSU blows away the street, the whole sector will soar before the bell tomorrow. Good for you, unfortunate for us.

Good luck.

Merry
