I'm wondering if the current weakness in Dell has something to do with possible internet orders fraud problems causing lost Dell revenue. I'm posting this as all my attempts to resolve issues and guide Dell in finding who stole Dell's time and money resulted in a very strange reaction.

I've been a credit victim of fraud and in particular someone used my information and successfully defrauded Dell of almost 7000 dollars. My numerous attempts to contact Dell can be summarized in my last email to Dell this evening.

Subject: Dell calls Monroe Police.

Upon returning home this evening I received a call from the local police. The detective was calling because the rude and unprofessional conduct of the individual from Dell who called. The tenor of the conversation caused the detective grave concerns for the safety of my family as he did not believe that the individual from Dell was legit. I
will get a copy of the police report of this incident and forward to no-one in charge at Dell which is to say everyone at Dell that I have an email address for. As it turns out I called dell today to discuss my problem because after several emails indicating that someone would call,
several days had passed and only stuff and bills were coming from dell.

Another 20 minutes trying to get through dell voice mail hell and another 20 speaking with the DELL fraud guy making threats and 35 minutes speaking with the Monroe police because a very rude Dell employee made attempts to direct the Monroe Police to engage in an illegal? activity.
Now I know what was meant by the original email from Dean_Kline@Dell.com
where he said.

Tom,

I am forwarding your note to our legal council for their evaluation and handling.

But I did enjoy this email from Lynn_Tyson@Dell.com

>From an investor relations perspective this person sound like they have several screws loose and I would be reluctant to dignify his financial question with an answer.

Well as I said before, I'm somewhat of an expert on screw and how tight they are. My expert opinion is that there are several loose screws at Dell.

I say this because a review of all computer data will show the crimes commited to defraud Dell all occured in Philadelphia and I'd guess that no-one at Dell has yet attempted to contact the Police there. Yet here
in Monroe where I as victim have had to expend time and resources because of Dell's fraud prone order entry system or employees, I'm being contacted by the Monroe police because .... ???????

Some thin is Rotten in Dell city..... The solution, put it in the trash. hmmmm..... another artistic photo essay. Are their actually ten thousands picture at watman.com ??? The Shadow knows.

I'll tell you, this is so funny that I'm crying. When all is said and done I be able to post the most hilarious story that will once again prove that TRUTH IS STRANGER THAN FICTION.

Sincerely,

.....

Meathead - Of course you are correct when you refer to GM's anemic growth, but it is a great illustration of how far things can go on the downside! I remember your post well, I'm still simply astounded as to how far things went to the upside. Guess I've been watching markets too long and expected a bit more 'rationality'. So, are you getting ready to buy anytime soon?

Regards,
John
