Interesting on the news tonight. Gore talking about education as a top priority. Wonder what he and Clinton has done for education the past eight years? As Bill said in the1992 race referring to the Bush Admin., "You have had it your way for 12 years. It's time for a change." BTW, Gore cast the tied breaking vote on the 1993 tax increase which increased taxes on social security and raised the federal withholding tax rate on supplement income (i.e. performance bonuses, etc.) from 20 to 28% that applies to EVERYONE, not just the top 1% of the wealthy. The non-fuzzy math = a 40% tax increase on the working families. Now he wants to work harder for them. Hmmm….. Didn’t hear that in the news....wonder why?
