I wish people would stop trying to time the bottom... I did before... my batting percentage was very low... I barely survived the losses.

It seems likely that most market participants will need to go through a complete cycle, doesn't it ;)

I was in Vegas, poster-child for excess, when the news of NT hit. Couldn't get a news paper on the plane so asked the attendant what the TSE closed at. A male, he says 'you don't want to know."

I assured him I did in fact want to know and he said something like down 800. Seeing that I wasn't troubled by this development at all, perhaps quite the opposite ;), he enthusiastically added 'what a great buying opportunity'.

LOL, from flight attendants to CEO's, many folks have never seen the downside, yet.

Just landed in Vancouver, heard on the drive home from the airport that the poor old TSE had to shut down trading in NT for awhile due to its inability to handle volume. What a joke!
