I was wondering if anyone on the thread did any short term trading using short interest as a guide. For example, AMZN has so many shares shorted that the short interest ratio is over 5--5 full days of trading on a very active stock. No wonder it had such a bounce.

Dell, in contrast has a short ratio of only about 1.

Of course, these figures cannot be current, but AMZN was at that level the last two reporting dates.
