I don't want to give you too hard a time, when everyone is frazzled and fights are getting out of hand all around. I have known Michael for awhile, and he is usually even- tempered. You and he have gotten into a feud that astounds me, and last night you were doing the yelling. As you might have gathered, I was rather tired of that sort of thing, and so I thought that appealing to you on the basis that it did not move the ball forward, but had more of the appearance of flying off the handle, might make a difference. Apparently, you are more than willing to take your chances for the privilege of letting off steam. Not much I can say to that, so have a ball.......

"Al Gore has to earn his votes," Mr. Nader told a crowded news conference yesterday. "He's not entitled to them."

Perhaps Clinton could sign the AlGore Vote Entitlement Act before the election.

Show me where I have called you a name? I've called political candidates names quite a few times, but I don't call posters names. Therefore, like your pal Whopper Al, you're suffering from a delusional mental models.

I don't have a responsibility to prove everything I post. Seems to me, if you're so anxious to challenge my posts, proving them false is the best way to do it. Obviously, you lack the ability to do that in regard to the article I posted.

You shot down no point at all. Al Gore may have proposed the moon while running for President. But where was he for the past 8 years? And where were Whopper Al's proposals while he was in the senate, in regard to prescription drugs and medicare?

It's laughable to see the way a sound-bite phrase such as "lock box" sucks Gore supporter into the fold. Lock Box?? Think about if for a minute will ya flapjack? What does it really mean? Does it mean he is going to sign legislation taking social security off-budget? Or, does it mean he is actually going to keep hundreds of billions of dollars in a box under his desk or something?? Really, what does it mean? Please explain how Al Gore is going to "lock box" social security?

Any thinking person realizes the phrase "lock box" is a phony focus group rhetorical spin, designed to suck the sound-bite crowd into believing something meaningful has actually been promised.

I would be embarrassed to admit I was a part of that crowd.
