Either company will represent exceptional value if and when they trade below 11. The downside from those levels are nil and the upside of 15 represent a 50% return. How long to realize those returns is a good question, but 15 will happen next year.

Actually, mutual fund tax loss selling is over at the close of trading today in the States if you take into account the 3 day settlement date.

As for individual tax loss selling, who is invested in these gold stocks now except for hard core gold bugs and value players?

I think there is the potential for tremendous upside in regard to some of these gold stocks in 2001.

Don't Bull Markets begin when all hope is lost that you'll ever see one again in your lifetime?

The seeming invincibility of the US dollar is another one of those lies that will be taken to task.

<<So naturally WE all can assume you are short either or both of those two stocks? Considering Tax loss season will be over very soon; thus your wait for quick profits will be short.>>

Only for the mutual funds, individuals can do "tax loss" selling until the last trading day of the year.
